    How long are the Performances?

    However long you want.
    Most bookings tend to be two to three hours, which normally covers for example a drinks reception then an eating period.
    Or in the case of a wedding for example a photo session period after the ceremony is approximately two hours.
    Some events are longer, such trade shows or at a corporate family fun day.

    Omar also performs a 'one table show' or 'parlour' show' that lasts about 40 minutes. This show is ideal for those special occasions where there are only a select number of guests seated at a single table.

    How far in advance do we need to book ?

    Omar Olusion books several months to a year in advance.
    Saturdays, Christmas & summer months being the most popular. These tend to get snapped up very quickly.

    If you think how long it takes to book other key aspects for your event (the venue, the musicians, caterers and so on) then you will have some idea of the timescale that Dave works towards. As with a wedding, say, it is not uncommon to have to book entertainers 6 to 9 months in advance (and sometimes even longer).

    That said, even if your event is short notice it is always worth CHECKING AVAILABILITY just to see if he has a cancellation on your date.

  • What if I would like to CANCEL my party or my kid gets sick and we have to RESCEDULE?


    If you let us know on Day of event,
    We can reschedule or cancel with a fee.

    If you let us know the day/s before event, We can reschedule or cancel with a fee

    If you let us know at least 7 days before your event, we can reschedule or cancel with retainer fee forfeited

    If you let us with 2 weeks or more before your event, The retainer fee will be forfeited or refunded pending situation.


    Can we meet you before deciding to book your services

    Not Usually

    Generally, this is not practical for him or for you.
    Omar is usually only available during the working weekday, being out performing in the evening and at weekends.
    As most clients are at work during that time it is difficult to arrange meetings.
    Also, while he is happy to complete a several hundred mile round-trip to perform at your event, it is not really feasible to do so for a quick conversation when most, if not all, points can be handled Digitally.

    Is insured ?


    For your peace of mind, Omar carries Public Liability Insurance up to
    $5 million, which means that his performance is guaranteed against accidents and damage.

    While there is that safeguard, Omar is naturally very careful anyway in his performances, and all borrowed items are treated with respect.
    He does not use dangerous items or procedures during the performance.

    If you NEED a COI with special wording. PLEASE include that in your enquiry or message to Omar at least 2 weeks prior to your date. If you need one retained within the 2 week mark, there may be an added fee.

    Why aren't there prices on the web site?

    All Events are Unique!
